Why is Rockford Public Schools speaking at an abortion meeting?
This Tuesday, September 9th, a member of the Rockford Public Schools administration will attend a meeting of the Winnebago County Citizens for Choice at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 4848 Turner St. Rockford, to explain the Rockford Public Schools sex-education program. As you know, the WCCC has openly advocated for and even funded the killing of children through abortion.
Attend the Meeting (6:30 PM): Please join us inside the meeting to hold the Rockford School Board accountable for what they say and do concerning the sex education of children in our public schools. You have every right to be present and to ask respectful, important questions. Please be inside the Unitarian Church by 6:20 PM to get a seat.
Peaceful Witness Outside (6:00–6:30 PM): Before the meeting, we will gather at the entrance to the Unitarian Universalist Church to hold signs, pray, and peacefully protest so that those entering—especially school officials—will see the truth that abortion takes a child’s life. Many of us will then go inside to attend the meeting at 6:35 PM.
Email the School Board Today: Please also contact the Rockford Board of Education and respectfully tell them it is scandalous and inappropriate for Board employees to be partnering with a group that advocates for the killing of children by abortion.
