The event will begin with a rally at the Federal Courthouse and then we will walk several blocks past the State of IL building and then back to the Federal Courthouse at 327 S. Church St. Click here to RSVP and

There is plenty of free parking (including for buses) across the street from the Federal Courthouse.

​

Our city and country is at a crossroads. Now is the time to stand up - join us for the first ever Walk for Life in Rockford to pray and demonstrate for the unborn, on the Saturday closest to the anniversary of the infamous Roe V. Wade decision.

COVID-19 Precautions

​

We will be Walking for Life in Rockford on January 23, 2021 at 10AM! The Covid-19 Pandemic is an unprecedented situation, which we are monitoring closely. Rockford Walk for Life is working very hard to ensure a safe and positive experience for attendees. We are continuing to work closely with our government agencies to do everything possible to be safe, healthy AND stand up for the unborn.


COVID-19 PANDEMIC WALK GUIDELINES


1. State Guidelines: Please refer to state and local guidelines regarding travel and quarantine.
Mask or Face Covering: The IL Department of Health requires those unable to maintain a distance of six feet from others to wear masks or face coverings (if over age 2 and able).


2. Handwashing: While traveling to and attending the Rockford Walk for Life, wash your hands often and use hand sanitizer when handwashing facilities are unavailable. It is encouraged that your party brings hand sanitizer with them to the Rally and Walk.

3. Stay at home if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms: If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or have experienced COVID-19 symptoms within 14 days of the Walk for Life, please stay home and monitor your health. We ask that anyone in your household or group who has been exposed takes similar precautions

4. Bus and Group Captains Guidelines:
   Conduct health screenings: you are responsible for conducting health screenings of all members of your party.
   Prepare water and food ahead of time: it is encouraged that you bring your own water and food for the day of the Walk.
