Update - March 16, 2025
We are in our second week of 40 Days for Life. Thank you to all who are praying and fasting. We leave in the hands of our loving Savior Jesus the result of our small efforts to love moms and babies and to end the killing in Rockford.
We now have two functioning child killing centers in Rockford. One on Auburn St., and one on Maray Dr. Both of these places are killing God's children in the womb using the abortion pill through about 12 weeks of pregnancy. The Abortion Pill (also known as “chemical abortion,” “medication abortion,” “medical abortion” and “RU-486”) is a drug regimen used to kill the child in the womb and expel him or her from the womb. It involves two drugs: mifepristone (Mifeprex), and misoprostol. The Abortion Pill regimen kills the preborn child by inhibiting the crucial hormone, progesterone, essentially starving the child to death.
Since the FDA first approved this drug, over 5.6 million preborn children have been killed by this pill. The FDA’s website states that “As of June 30, 2022, there were 28 reports of deaths in patients associated with mifepristone since the product was approved in September 2000 and the FDA has received over 4,000 reports of adverse events from women experiencing hemorrhage, excruciating abdominal pain, and severe life-threatening infections.
In simple terms - we have two businesses in Rockford supported by politicians in the Democratic party and the media that are open for the purpose of killing God's children in the womb. They destroy lives, souls, families, and have turned Rockford into a "destination for death" for persons in the womb. This week at Rockford's abortion mill we saw cars with license place from Wisconsin, Iowa, Indiana, and Illinois.
WHAT ARE WE TO DO? We need to pray a little more, serve and sacrifice with greater devotion, and be joyful trusting disciples of Jesus Christ in sharing His life and love with all our families and community. Yes, the forces of sin, satan, and death are having their day but by the Cross and Resurrection of Jesus Christ eternity belongs to God
