FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Pro-Life Victory in Rockford - Court REVERSES Zoning Decision on Auburn St Abortion Mill
April 11, 2025 - A Victory for Justice & Life!
In 2023 abortionist Dennis Christensen opened an abortion mill in a Rockford residential neighborhood without proper zoning or a special use permit. The special use permit that would have prevented an abortion mill in a residential neighborhood suddenly and mysteriously "disappeared " from the records of the city of Rockford. This gave pro-abortion Mayor Tom McNamara and members of the city council the excuse to disregard the needed permits and zoning regulations and allow the child killing center to open at 611 Broadway.
A group of residents near 611 Auburn St, brought their case to the City of Rockford Zoning Board. The Zoning Board wrongly ruled that effectively permits and proper zoning are not necessary to open an abortion mill in a residential neighborhood. As a result of this decision, an estimated 1,200 children have been killed in the womb - all because Mayor McNamara and his Zoning Board allowed the Auburn St abortion mill to open in January of 2023.
However, these concerned citizens living in the vicinity of the abortion mill sued in state court.
Yesterday, Thursday April 10th, 2025, in the 4th District Appellate Court, IL, Justice DeArmond delivered the judgment of the court:
ORDER: The appellate court reversed, finding the Rockford Zoning Board of Appeals (Board) erred in finding two plaintiffs lacked standing; the Board clearly erred in determining the defendant doctor and clinic’s proposed use was consistent with a decades-old prior legal nonconforming use established by a special use permit; and subsequently, the trial court erred in affirming the Board and granting defendants’ motion to dismiss.
The full ruling is over 50 pages (which can be found here), but seems to conclude:
1. The McNamara administration and zoning board acted outside the law, resulting in countless children were killed by abortion because of their illegal actions.
2. The Rockford Family Planning Center at 611 Auburn St, is currently operating without proper permits and it is the city of Rockford's responsibility to close them down immediately.
3. The abortion mill can appeal the decision but we believe it will be a very difficult case for them because of the strongly worded and clear decision of the 4th District Appellate Court.
4. The abortion mill can go to the city and ask for a permit. This will be difficult because this abortion mill has brought more than one case of abortion supporters acting violently to this neighborhood, dozens of calls to the police, noise ordinance violations, angry and disgruntled neighbors because all of the disturbance cause by the abortion mill. In short, if the city gives a permit in a residential neighborhood to a divisive business that has proven to be disruptive to the peace and welfare of this neighborhood then the city can be sued if they ever deny a business use permit to any business that would like to open in any residential neighborhood.
We don't know what the coming weeks will bring. But it is good to see a court of law in Illinois clearly recognizes that the City of Rockford acted in bad faith and outside the law harming the residents of the Auburn St neighborhood. As far as the more than 1,200 innocent girls and boys who have been murdered at this abortion mill - these babies will be looking to God in heaven for their eternal justice.
This sign of our Crucified Lord was placed outside of the abortion mill today as a reminder that even when it looks like evil has won Christ is always victorious in His Resurrection.
